Just Eat is home to thousands of incredible independent food businesses, but amongst the big-name chains, some of the best can be easy to miss. So we set out to put the spotlight on the local heroes worth discovering.

Hosted by a cast of food creators, our mini-documentary series travelled the country to uncover the stories, people and cultures behind some of Just Eat’s most exciting independent restaurants. From humble cheese toasties to elevated Filipino cuisine, each episode served up three of the business’s signature dishes while giving audiences a first-hand taste of what makes them special.

The result was a celebration of Britain’s diverse independent food scene that connected millions of viewers with their next local favourite, with each episode generating millions of views.
